Journal of Dentomaxillofacial ScienceJournal of Dentomaxillofacial Science is an international, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to advancing research in oral health, diseases, and rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis on marine dental-associated topics. Its primary goal is to disseminate translational and applicative scientific knowledge that contributes to improving clinical practices, promoting innovation, and fostering collaboration among practitioners, educators, and researchers worldwide. The journal’s scope encompasses various topics within the field of oral health sciences, aiming to support the exchange of ideas and the development of effective solutions for complex dental and maxillofacial challenges. Published in English by the Faculty of Dentistry at Hasanuddin University in Makassar, Indonesia, Journal of Dentomaxillofacial Science increased its publication frequency from three to four issues per year starting in 2025, thereby enhancing the timely dissemination of scientific advancements. With a history dating back to 2002, the journal was initially known as Dentofasial and has been published under its current name since 2016.
