Abstract
This editorial review highlights a series of studies emphasizing evident discoveries in the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases. The first report addresses a rare case of unicystic ameloblastoma located in the maxillary sinus, highlighting the need of histological analysis for precise identification despite deceptive radiographic characteristics. A different example examines dentigerous cysts, highlighting diagnostic problems stemming from unusual appearances, finally clarified by histological assessment. The effectiveness of sclerotherapy with hypertonic saline for treating parotid sialocele is examined, indicating it as a safe and efficacious therapeutic alternative. The influence of anemia on pediatric drug-induced erythema multiforme is examined, highlighting the need for thorough evaluations for determining appropriate treatments. Additional research examines the remineralization capacity of Silver Diamine Fluoride in hypomineralized primary dentition and the influence of ethanol on bone remodeling during orthodontic therapy. This editorial review provides significant insights into current oral health management procedures in our previous edition, highlighting the need for accurate diagnosis and novel treatment methodologies in dentistry.
