Hasanuddin Law Review is an open-access and peer-reviewed scholarly journal that provides an international academic platform for cross-border legal research concerning governance, public policy, civil rights, and contemporary legal developments, with particular attention to issues affecting developing and emerging jurisdictions.
Areas of Legal Scholarship
The journal welcomes theoretically informed, doctrinal, comparative, interdisciplinary, and empirical legal scholarship. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Priority is given to original and well-grounded manuscripts that engage with contemporary legal issues through comparative, cross-border, or transnational perspectives. Submissions should demonstrate a clear scholarly contribution and significance beyond a purely local legal context, including meaningful engagement across jurisdictions, legal systems, or emerging legal challenges.
