Media Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (MKMI) features scientific articles on public health issues. All articles are written in English and undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review, ensuring research quality and integrity. In collaboration with Ikatan Ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (IAKMI), MKMI promotes public health science and the dissemination of research.

While primarily focused on Indonesia, the journal is open to manuscripts from beyond the region that address related or comparable issues on a regional or global scale.
