All manuscripts are written in English and undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic excellence, research integrity, and scientific quality.

In collaboration with Ikatan Ahli Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia (IAKMI), MKMI supports the advancement and dissemination of public health research.

While the journal places primary emphasis on Indonesia and Asia, it also welcomes submissions from other regions that provide comparative insights or address public health challenges of regional and global relevance.
