Forest and Society
ISSN 2549-4333
Forest and Society is published by Forestry Faculty of Hasanuddin University. Forest and Society is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal and is rated according to international publication standards. We swiftly publish articles online, with printed versions published twice a year on a broad category of topics. We invite scholarly contributions on Southeast Asia, including works beyond this geographical scope, when engaging on a comparative or timely policy topic relevant to the region. Forest and Society promote scholarly, theoretical, pragmatic, and contemporary research, making a clear conceptual and methodological contribution to existing international literature. These may include but are not limited to various fields such as planning/management, geography, forestry, sociology, land use, anthropology, history, ecology, legal studies, economics, environmental and sustainability studies, international relations, psychology, and others, particularly those that engage with people, land, and forest.
Our international editorial board fills a gap in the socio-ecological fields by promoting interdisciplinary work on studying human-environment and human-forest relations, produced amidst and for those interested and located in the Southeast Asia region. The journal is not preferential to theoretical or applied research and seeks to serve as a bridge between knowledge levels. Current efforts are envisioned to gradually improve research quality alongside support to capacity-building initiatives to improve research in the region. In Forest and Society, it is also possible to publish special issues and special sections upon request. A special issue enables us to publish papers focusing on specific themes, often related to an emerging or under-researched topic.

Jurnal Penelitian Kehutanan Wallacea
ISSN 2407-7860
Jurnal Penelitian Kehutanan, abbreviated as JPK Wallaceae, is an open-access peer-reviewed journal assessed according to international publication standards. This journal is published by the Forestry Faculty of Hasanuddin University, both online and in print, twice a year. We invite scholarly contributions on conservation issues in the biogeographical region of Wallacea, but conservation issues from other parts of the world are also welcome. Wallacea is a strategic biogeographical region located between two continents, Asia and Australia, so the biodiversity in this region is extremely unique and specific, characterized by a high level of endemism. However, on the other hand, the conservation of biological resources in this region is under threat from overcrowding and an increasing population. Various approaches need to be continuously pursued in the context of managing existing biological resources to ensure their sustainable availability for the welfare of the people in this region.
JPK Wallacea promotes scientific research, both theoretical and applied, making a clear conceptual and methodological contribution to international literature in the field of conservation. This may include, but not be limited to, various aspects of conservation such as biodiversity, ecology, biogeography, environmental science, planning, management, sociology, anthropology, law, economics, policies, and others.
Our International Editorial Board meets the gap in managing biodiversity resources and promoting interdisciplinary work in supporting sustainable development. Efforts are currently prioritized to improve the quality of research in addition to support for capacity building initiatives in the Wallaceae region, and gradually expanded to other parts of the world. JPK Wallacea also allows publishing special issues and special sections upon request. Specific problems will enable us to publish papers focusing on certain themes, often related to topics that appear or are less examined.Media Kesehatan Masyarakat Indonesia
